Our practice offers you the full range of general medical practice care according to the principles of medical teaching developed at colleges and universities through research and study. We carefully select all examinations and medications in cooperation with you.
In addition to ECG, long-term blood pressure measurement and lung function tests, we offer a wide range of preventive health examinations, such as vaccinations, health check-ups, skin screening for the early detection of skin changes, and laboratory tests.
The statutory health insurance funds provide all insured persons over the age of 35 with a basic examination every three years, during which, in addition to an examination of the entire body, some blood values are also measured. Our recommendation: Please make use of this examination, which can detect many functional disorders in their early stages, so that they can often be remedied quickly. We will be happy to advise you about further tests and examinations.
ECG
in the so-called electrocardiography, the electrical activities of the heart are derived and recorded in the form of curves. With the help of an ECG, for example, cardiac arrhythmias or circulatory disorders of the heart muscle can be detected.
Pulmonary function test
Spirometry: This measures how quickly one can inhale and exhale how much air. This test is especially recommended for athletes, smokers, and anyone who is suspected of having a change in lung function. The examination is not painful and is accompanied by our medical staff.
Skin screening
It was only in 2008 that an examination of the entire surface of the skin was introduced as a health insurance benefit for insured persons over the age of 35, which can be performed by specially trained physicians. The examination serves the early detection of skin cancer and is painless. In the case of conspicuous changes in the skin, referral to a dermatologist (dermatologist) is made.
Long-term blood pressure measurement
In a long-term blood pressure measurement, the blood pressure is measured regularly over a period of 24 hours and a blood pressure profile is created. The functional principle of a long-term blood pressure measurement is the same as that of an ordinary blood pressure measurement. In a long-term blood pressure measurement, blood pressure is measured every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes at night. A device measures these values and stores them.
